In today's rapidly evolving world, public institutions are tasked with not only providing essential services but also building strong, trusting relationships with citizens and stakeholders. For MMDAs, this responsibility is especially critical, as their role in community development and local governance directly impacts the daily lives of the people they serve. To help strengthen these relationships and enhance the effectiveness of service delivery, the Human Resource Department of Ahafo Ano South West District organized a training workshop on Customer and Client Engagement for the staff. The workshop aimed to build strong communication channels, Promote Active Listening and Feedback Mechanisms, Conflict Resolution, and Dealing with Complaints. As public servants, the ability to engage effectively with citizens is not just a skill- it's a responsibility. The success of any District Assembly depends on the trust and cooperation of the community it serves. The workshop aims to reinforce that connection and empower each department to serve as a bridge between the government and the people.
