A two-day assessment of the annual District Performance Assessment (DPAT) took place at the Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly on Friday September 29, 2023 and Monday October 2, 2023. The team assessed the performance of the Assembly for the year 2022. The annual District Performance Assessment is an assessment for all Districts nationwide and the 2022 edition has already begun. The Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly held its entry conference on Friday September 29, 2023 at the District Assembly's conference hall. The leader of the team Christoph Anagbonu, in his speech said, there are three indicators that the team will focus on. These are Service Delivery, Performance and Compliance indicators. He noted that the assessment is to find how well the Assembly has performed in line with their mandate. After the assessment, an exit conference was held to announce the marks the Assembly obtained for their performance for the year 2022. The leader of the team read the thematic areas and its respective marks. He noted that, all Assemblies are suppose to score a mark of 97%. He explained that the Assembly lost some few marks so out of 97%, the Assembly had 91%. The team encouraged the staff to continue working hard for the country and the District and also appealed to the DCE and DCD to organize more training for the staff on their work mandate. The DCE, Hon Joseph Frimpong Bonsu thanked the team for their professional conduct and assured them that, more training workshop will be organized for staff. He also appreciated the staff for their hard work that got the Assembly that higher mark of 91%. In attendance were the Honorable DCE, Joseph Frimpong Bonsu, Presiding Member, Hon Eric Agyakum, District Coordinating Director, Paul Atsu Agbezidor, Heads of Departments/Units/Agencies and some staff of the Assembly.
