The Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly held its Mid-Year Performance Review Meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, to assess the implementation of programmes and projects undertaken by various departments and units during the first half of 2026.
The meeting, which brought together heads of departments and units, formed part of the Assembly's Second Quarter Review and provided a platform for management to evaluate the progress made in implementing activities outlined in the approved departmental work plans and action plans.
During the session, each department and unit head delivered a PowerPoint presentation highlighting key activities implemented, achievements recorded, challenges encountered, and strategies to improve performance for the remainder of the year. The presentations also enabled management to measure the level of implementation against the plans earlier submitted to the Coordinating Unit.
The review focused on ensuring accountability, strengthening inter-departmental coordination, and promoting effective service delivery across the District. Participants engaged in constructive discussions, shared best practices, and proposed practical solutions to address identified gaps.
The Assembly emphasised the importance of periodic performance reviews as a critical tool for monitoring development programmes, improving efficiency, and ensuring that projects and interventions are implemented in line with the District's Medium-Term Development Plan.
The meeting concluded with renewed commitment from all heads of departments and units to intensify efforts towards achieving the Assembly's development goals and delivering quality services that will improve the livelihoods of residents in the Ahafo Ano South West District.
