The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West District, Hon. Abubakar Sedik, together with the NDC Constituency Chairman, Koo Broni, have inspected the reshaping works on the Kunsu Camp–Kunsu Dotiem road.
The road improvement works are being funded by Hon. Abubakar Sedik and the Constituency Chairman as part of efforts to enhance accessibility and facilitate the movement of people and goods within the area.
The road serves as an important link for residents and farmers in the surrounding communities, particularly in transporting farm produce to Kunsu market center and accessing essential services.
Hon. Abubakar Sedik said the intervention was necessary to provide immediate relief to residents while broader efforts were being pursued to improve road infrastructure across the District under the BIG PUSH initiative.
He noted that improved road networks were critical to the socio-economic development of rural communities, as they would enhance access to markets, education, healthcare and other essential services.
Hon Sedik reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the NDC Constituency Chairman, Koo Broni and other stakeholders to address pressing development challenges in communities across the Ahafo Ano South West District.
Interacting with the media, the constituency Chairman, Koo Broni said the reshaping of the Kunsu Camp–Kunsu Dotiem road was a demonstration of their commitment to ensuring that development reached communities that needed it most.
He pleaded with the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene to push harder for the tarring of major roads in the District.
