The Performance Contract assessment team from the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development on Tuesday May 2, 2023 visited the Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly to assess the overall work, programs and activities of the District Assembly. The Performance Contract is a key mechanism in the implementation of Performance Management System (PMS) as it will enable the MMDAs to commit to the achievement of set objectives and targets in delivery of specific key outputs set by the District Assemblies within a given timeframe. The team after the assessment applauded the Assembly for a good work done and gave recommendations and advise on the areas the Assembly fell short. The team were Brian Tsikpor, principal development planning officer and Nariel Quayson, principal human resource manager.
