The Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly has sworn into office thirteen (13) appointed Assembly Members at a ceremony held at the District Assembly's conference hall on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Mankranso.

His Worship, Emmanuel Adu Wiafe, sworn into office thirteen (13) Government appointees into the Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly as required by the Local Governance Act 936, 2016.

The appointed Assembly Members took the oath of office, allegiance and secrecy.

Thirteen (13) appointed Members form 30% of the membership of the Assembly.

The Ahafo Ano South West District Coordinating Director and Acting District Chief Executive, Mr Paul Atsu Agebezudor, welcomed all the Honourable appointed Members into august house of the Assembly and advised them to perform their duties professionally bearing in mind the Oaths they have taken.

He also assured them of the support of the Assembly in line with their duties. He further encouraged them to support the elected Assembly Members for the growth of the District and not to bear grudges with them.
