As part of the Ashanti Festival, the Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly organized a clean-up exercise on Saturday, April 12, 2025, as scheduled.

The exercise was led by the District Coordinating Director in the principal streets of Mankranso. The Environment Health Department together with the staff and Heads of the Department of the Assembly, students of Mankranso Senior High School, the Ghana Police Service, staff of the District Health and Education Directorate, Zoomlion Ghana Limited, political parties, Assembly members, Nananom, the clergy, traders, the media and the general public were all present in their numbers which made the exercise a successful one. .

In a media interview, the District Environmental Health Officer, Macillinus Nameh noted that the participation of the general public in the clean-up exercise was encouraging and urged all to make cleaning a daily habit. .
