The Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly on Monday, May 19, 2025, held its second quarter District Planning Coordinating Unit (DPCU) meeting at the District Conference Room. The meeting was to discuss the preparation of the 2026-2029 Medium Term Development Plan (MTDP) for the District.

The meeting focused on providing members with guidance on preparing the 2026-2029 MTDP. These guidelines for the preparation of the plan are a vital roadmap for the District's development goals.

The District Planning Officer, Abdulai Habiba in her presentation emphasized the importance of the MTDP as a roadmap for achieving the District's development goals.

She noted that the MTDP is a critical framework for promoting sustainable and inclusive development, ensuring that local priorities are effectively addressed and implemented.

The DPCU will meet all Area Councils in the District to receive the needs of the people towards the preparation of the plan based on the provided guidelines and directives from the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC).

The meeting was chaired by the District Coordinating Director, Paul Atsu Agebezudor. All members were present at the meeting.
