On Monday, May 26, 2025, The Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly held its first management meeting with the newly confirmed District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Abubakar Sedik. The meeting brought together all Heads of Departments and Units, together with the Coordinating Director, Mr. Paul Atsu Agebezudor in a bid to strengthen collaboration toward the District's development.

The meeting, held at the DCE’s office, offered an opportunity for Hon. Abubakar Sedik to officially engage with the District’s administrative and technical leadership. Each Head of Department and Unit was allowed to talk at the meeting to either give a word of advice or welcome the new DCE.

Paul Atsu Agebezudor, the District Coordinating Director, underscored the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and collective effort in achieving the vision and mission of the Assembly and that of the DCE.

In a brief speech, Hon. Abubakar Sedik expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to an open-door and inclusive administration. He urged all Heads to do their part as far as the development of the District is concerned.

The DCE assured all of his support and pledged to work with all departments to ensure the District's development agenda is achieved.
