The District Chief Executive of the Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly, Hon Abubakar Sedik, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, visited the Mpaasaso BECE center to encourage the candidates on day two of their examination. .

Addressing the candidates at Mpaasaso No.2 D/A JHS, the Hon DCE urged the students to make him proud by passing the examination with a single-digit aggregate score. .

Hon. Abubakar Sedik pledged full scholarships for top-performing students. Specifically, the DCE promised to sponsor or give a full scholarship for Secondary and Tertiary Education to students who will achieve an aggregate score of six (6) on the Basic Education Certificate Examination. This initiative, according to the DCE, aims to motivate students to excel and ensure they have the resources to pursue further education. .

Additionally, Hon Abubakar Sedik donated snacks, water and an amount of money to the invigilators and the supervisors for their lunch. .
