The Budget Committee of the Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly held its scheduled meeting on Monday, June 16, 2025, at the District Assembly Conference Hall. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Paul Atsu Agebezudor, the District Coordinating Director (DCD) of the Assembly.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Paul Atsu Agebezudor welcomed members present and emphasised the importance of the meeting, especially on revenue generation and the 2025 DACF allocation guidelines. He encouraged active participation from members.

The District Budget Analyst, Mr. Shirage Ahmed, gave a detailed presentation on the Revenue and expenditure of the Assembly in 2024 and the first quarter of 2025.

The committee discussed the guidelines issued to all MMDAs on the allocation and utilisation of the 2025 District Assemblies Common Fund.

In the closing remarks of the Chairman, he thanked members for their contributions and urged them to stay committed to the development of the District. He reiterated that the collaboration among all members was essential for the District’s budget execution.
